Schneider International selected for government of India’s “MIIM” programme
As the leading company in the field of prototyping in India, Schneider International has been selected for the Government of India’s “Make in India Mittelstand” support programme.
An important milestone in the programme was our presence at the performance show “Make in India Week” in Mumbai. From 13 to 18 February 2016, it provided a showcase for the potential of Indian industry in matters of design, innovation and sustainability for the next decade.
“It is definitely a privilege and also a great opportunity for our company to be part of the MIIM programme in India. Schneider International certified according to ISO/IEC 27001:2013
Schneider International India – First Indian Company in the Additive Manufacturing Industry to be certified according to ISO/IEC 27001:2013.
Intellectual Property is of very high interest to most of the R&D teams in the industry. Protecting the sensitive IP of its customers is of vital importance to a rapid prototyping company like Schneider International (SI), as we are one of the leading providers of prototyping services and low volume production. In India, SI is running two manufacturing sites in Puducherry and Noida.
SI became the first company in the Asian Additive Manufacturing Industry to receive the certificate ISO/IEC 20071:2013 from the British Standards Institution. This was awarded at the AMSI 2014 conference for all its Indian manufacturing facilities. For SI, information asset is anything that has a business value and SI is committed to protecting these information assets and the supporting infrastructure of their partners.
“The implementation of the standard is a testimony of Schneider’s continual commitment to maintain and improve the organisation’s information security initiatives and provides confidence to business partners in the conduct of business with Schneider.” says Dr. Henri-Jacques Topf, Chairman at Schneider International.
Those who adapt are those who endure
Since 2009 Schneider Prototyping GmbH has actively pursued its path to internationalization.
In that time we have established facilities in England, Hungary, India and China. Further locations are in the process of currently being set up.
This gives you the advantage that your plastic or metal prototypes and batch series parts can now be optimally manufactured within our own facilities according to your desired technology and delivery times. This is irrespective of you requesting STL, nylon, die, aluminum or grey iron casting.
You benefit from our presence at the center of European development sites and from our facilities in up and coming markets such as China and India.
Many of our customers also have development centers in these markets.
To accommodate our new perspectives, Schneider Prototyping will become Schneider International. Schneider Prototyping and Schneider Production will continue to operate under the new overarching corporate identity of Schneider International.
Our contact details remain the same.
We wish you and ourselves a continued fruitful and trusting relationship going into this transformation and the best of luck for the future.
